The short story: I had been looking for a beautiful Corvette for about 6 months before I came across this one on Big Island Craigslist add in Sept 2015 with 7,800 miles on it.
I Flew over to Kona and bought it before it reached 2 days on Craigslist. Came back two weeks later and shipped it to Oahu.
I'm the 2nd owner (56 Law Enforcement US Navy Ret.) The first owner, In 2005 She (Business owner 47 at the time) went into Hilo combined dealership to buy herself A new Mini Cooper on her Birthday. The dealership had many makes and Models to choose from including Corvettes and talked her into this beautiful little red Corvette over the Mini Cooper...True story.
On occasions, she drove it to Kona to have Coffee with the Big Island Corvette club....drive back and put it under cover for 6 months. This routine went on for 10 years before she decided to sell it with 7,800 miles on it. She always had it dealership serviced.
As of June 2017 it now has 12,884 miles on it.
Put on all new belts, fluids, Optima Redtop Battery, new shoes/Tires Michelin Pilot super sports- (about 1400 miles on them now.) Hawk ceramic pads, new rotors, red Corvette rotor covers, ceramic tint, dash cover, BBK polished aluminum cold air intake, tinted brake light covers (come off easy for safety inspection), matched Corvette red license plate frame/cover $65, small mini splash guards, some polished under hood parts- (fluid caps), Bose 6 CD MP3 stock stereo (sounds great) Corvette indoor/outdoor car cover, stock exhaust. Always Mobile one synthetic oil change.
I'm selling because I'm "Corvette hooked" and want a 1 to 2 year old used C7 Z06 at a great price and am taking my time for another perfect deal....I DO NOT NEED TO SELL THIS QUICK, I have the money to buy a used C7 and Keep C6 until I get the right price.
I'm selling it a little above KBB because I know it's worth it. If you do not agree, that's ok but please do not call me with an unreasonably low offer. The price will go lower in time but I really doubt this add will last very long before it sells.
