2000 Chevy Cavalier Bi-fuel CNG runs well. No rust Arizona/Texas car.
2000 Chevrolet Cavalier Bi-fuel Description
2000 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2L 4 cylinder bi-fuel (runs on compressed natural gas or regular gasoline). 166,xxx miles. Vehicle originally owned and maintained by the state of Arizona. Purchased several years ago in Arizona and moved it with me when I came to Texas. Selling because I'm moving out of country on July 13.
This vehicle has never been registered in Utah to my knowledge. Check the CarFax to verify.
The vehicle has given me no mechanical trouble whatsoever, though the interior and exterior are consistent with the vehicle age. I've always maintained the car with regular oil changes using full synthetic Mobil 1 (or Pennzoil Platinum, occasionally Royal Purple). While the vehicle is admittedly old, I have never had a problem that has stranded me. And a must in south Texas is Air Conditioning -- the A/C on this car is phenomenal. It truly is better than any other vehicle I've been in.
Please expect the following (some are seen in the pictures): peeling front bumper, mangled passengers sun visor, missing radio knob, cracked dash, rubber floor mats, large CNG tank in trunk (I've not run the CNG in quite some time due to access issues here in Texas), rock chip in windshield, heat shield on drivers rear that causes rattling when it rains (easy fix), radiator fluid that needs to be topped off periodically (maybe once a month), parking break that needs to be tightened, tires that need replacing soon. I'm not a mechanic, but I'm mechanically inclined, and this vehicle has been outstanding for me. Though it's not new, it is a money saver in licensing/registration, gas, and insurance.
Additional photos are available; just email me.
PLEASE EXPECT TO PICK THIS VEHICLE UP ON THE MORNING OF JULY 13. I FLY OVERSEAS AT MID-DAY AND WILL NEED USE OF THE VEHICLE UNTIL I LEAVE.
