THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION FOR FOR MY 1998 CAMARO Z28
LIFE HAS NOW FORCED ME TO SELL MY BELOVED CAMARO. ITS A CLEAN ADULT OWNED 1998 AUTO T-TOP RED ON GRAY Z28. I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR FOR OVER A DECADE NOW, PURCHASED FROM MY UNCLE WHO BOUGHT THE CAR BRAND NEW OUTTA STATE IN TN & WHEN HE RELOCATED TO FL. WHERE MY PARENTS LIVES I BOUGHT IT THERE & DROVE IT HOME TO NYC. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY SECOND VEHICLE SINCE THEN, & HAS APP 86 THOUSAND MILES ON IN NOW BUT MAY GO UP SLIGHTLY AS I AM OCCASIONALLY DRIVING IT HERE N THERE NOW WHEN LIFE PERMITS. IT HAS A REBUILT LS1 TO FACTORY SPECS, TO THE COST OF OVER 4500, AS THE OIL PUMP FAILED SHORTY AFTER I GOT IT HOME AT JUST UNDER 75K, THE MOTORS GOT APP 15K ON IT NOW & RUNS SUPER STRONG. THE TRANSMISSION WAS ALSO REBUILT WITHIN THE PAST 2 YEARS BY ALLSTAR AT THE COST OF ABOUT 1800, WITH A PROPER FIRM SHIFT KIT. IT HAS BEEN LOWERED 1 INCH ALL AROUND WITH ELEDBROCK ADJ STRUTS & SPRINGS. I HAD IT MECHANICALLY GONE OVER BEGINNING OF SUMMER LAST YEAR & THEY PUT IN A NEW POWER STEERING PUMP, BRAKES & ALTERNATOR. IT HAS POLISHED ALLOY 17 X 9 TRANS AM WS6 WHEELS ON IT NOW PAINTED SILVER, WITH WELL USED 275 40 TIES ALL AROUND. ITS WEARING BLACK N RED 2002 CAMARO SS EMBLEMS & FRONT GRILL ON IT ALSO FROM MY FRIENDS OLD WRECKED BLACK SS SADLY LONG SINCE PARTED OUT, & AN ORIGINAL RED GM SS WING I PURCHASED USED OFF EBAY (I HAVE THE ORIGINAL Z28 EMBLEMS STILL IN THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT) THE CAR IS CURRENTLY REGISTERED & INSURED & I DO DRIVE IT OCCASIONALLY WHEN I AM PAIN FREE BUT I FEEL IT IS TIME TO LET IT GO AS I CANNOT UPKEEP HER FOR NOW.
THIS CAR RUNS & DRIVES AWESOME BUT NEEDS WORK AS FOLLOWS;

  • THE FLOWMASTER DUAL TIP MUFFLER NEEDS TO BE REWELDED BACK ON, IT WAS CRACKED ALONG THE WELD ABOVE THE REAR END & HUNG SLIGHTLY ASKEW, SO I JUST PULLED IT OFF. NOW IT IS A LIL LOUD N CACKLES HERE N THERE BUT I ACTUALLY LIKE IT & IT STILL PASSED INSPECTION...
  • THE DASH IS CRACKED & ALONG WITH THE HEADLINER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. OR NOT... THE INTERIOR HAS VARIOUS NICKS N SCRAPES N WHATNOT FROM AGE, BUT NOTHING MAJOR OTHER THEN PERIODIC USE BUT ASIDE FROM WAX/WASHING IT UP MYSELF, I HAVE NEVER TAKEN IT THROUGH OR TOO AN AUTOMATED CAR WASH, SO A GOOD DETAIL OF THE INSIDE & DEF WASH THE RUG WOULD BE MY NEXT MOVE AS IT HAS A FEW DIRTY SPOTS. I DONT THINK ANYONE, HAS EVER, SAT IN THE BACK SEATS MORE THEN SAY 5 TIMES IT USUALLY REMAINS FOLDED DOWN TO FIT MY MOUNTAIN BIKE IN

  • THE RADIO WORKS WELL BUT THE CD SKIPS & ONE RADIO BUTTON IS BROKEN, I HAVE A NEW FANCY CD PLAYER, AMP & CUSTOM STYLE SINGLE CAMARO SUB WOOFER BOX THAT FITS IN THE BACK CORNER NEXT TO THE TTOPS WHICH IS ALL INCLUDED.
  • THE STRUTS WERE NEW WHEN INSTALLED BUT ARE SEVERAL YEARS OLD NOW & HONESTLY SHE SITS FOR MONTHS ATTA TIME IN THE GARAGE UNUSED SO... I TRIED TO ADJUST THEM LAST TIME I DROVE IT, BUT ITS HIT OR MISS WITH MY BACK SO RIGHT NOW I THINK THEYRE SET FULL ON "SOFT" OR LEAK

  • WHILE IT HAS BEEN GARAGE KEPT MOST ITS LIFE, BEING OLDER N USED THE PAINT HAS SEVERAL SCRATCHES & SCRAPES, FRONT BUMPER THE WORST (SEE PIC)THE CLEAR COAT IS PEELING ON THE HOOD SO I WOULD GET THOSE SPOTS TOUCHED UP THEN THE WHOLE HOOD/FRONT BUMPER RECLEARED.

  • FROM DISCONNECTING & RECONNECTING THE BATTERY EVERY TIME I TAKE IT OUT, A COUPLE IDIOT LIGHTS ARE ALWAYS LIT UP, USUALLY BRAKE &/OR ABS, WHICH IS PROBABLY DUE TO THE 3RD BRAKE LIGHT BEING OUT, A NEW ONE FROM SLP THAT NEEDS TO BE PUT IN IS INCLUDED. ALSO THE SECURITY LIGHT HAS GONE ON & OFF SINCE THE DAY I BOUGHT IT, BUT THAT USUALLY CHANGES RANDOMLY WHEN YOU DRIVE IT. THE ALARM WORKS JUST FINE

  • IT COULD USE NEW TIRES & A DECENT DETAIL JOB INSIDE & OUT FOR SURE, PLUS ITS NEVER BEEN PROPERLY "TUNED"

DUE TO ME ONLY DRIVING IT USUALLY LESS THEN 100 MILES THE MOST IN 1 ROUND TRIP IN THE PAST YEAR,
