This 1973 Split Bumper Pro Touring Camaro was a rotisserie restored car that’s been completed for about 4 years. It’s nicely detailed from top to bottom and features drivetrain and suspension package that’s a riot to play with.
Up front, the Camaro has BMR upper A-arms, a BMR front sway bar and KYB shocks. Out back, the Camaro has BellTech leafs and KYB shocks. Connecting everything together and stiffening up the unibody is a set of subframe connectors. The wheels are Raceline 20x10’s in the rear and Raceline 18x8’s. Bringing the vehicle to a quick stop are a set of Corvette brakes all the way around. Overall, the suspension and brake package provide for a very usable and nice setup. The car has great ride quality with handling that’s been improved over the stock setup.
Powering the Camaro is an LS2 with approximately 25,000 miles. It makes great power and was dyno’d last year at 383 RWHP. The motor uses a reprogrammed factory ECU with Hooker headers, and a custom tank with a Tanks Inc pump. The clutch is a Spec SC091 set up with matching flywheel and it’s all linked to a T56 Magnum transmission with a 4.10 geared posi unit out back. This combination has tight gearing, quick acceleration and the double overdrive T56 setup rocks on the highway.
