1965 Chevrolet Impala Convt Description

Hi, up for sale is my 1965 Chevy Impala convertible. As you can see by the pics attached this car is very nice in and out. Below I will try and describe exactly what I see and know about this car. Lots of money invested in the last couple years. Its a very cool street custom that will command lots of attention.

Starting With The Outside: Clean 2 stage brilliant black paint job laid over a laser straight and rust free body. Car was painted about 5 yrs ago and has been garage kept ever since. Paint job is holding up real well with only minor surface scratches and paint touch ups here and there. It's black so it shows every little thing but for the most part cars paint is very nice. There's new emblems, wheel well moldings, side view mirror and antennas. Both bumpers, grill, and headlight bezels are still original and still shine real well. All glass is original, scratch and chip free and was recently smoke tinted and looks great including top glass back window. The 65 has a cleanblack power top that works flawlessly and has no holes or rips on it.Recently installed new cylinders and hoses and switch so everything is basically new. All headlights, taillights, and turn signals work as they should.

Inside: Interior looks great. Its basically all original and still shows real well. Recently installed new carpet and Impala floor mats, inner door handles, armrest bases, all pedal covers, e-brake handle, turn signal lever, column shift lever, and a new red boot cover for when the tops down. 4 sets of seat belts installed. There's a Bluetooth cd stereo with a few speakers in the stock locations that sounds real nice. All dash electrical works as it should. All in all real nice inside.

Motor & Transmission: Car is an original big block 396 car. Unfortunately previous owner gave away original 396. Motor is now powered by a newe, very strong crate 350/330 hp motor. Motor has a mild cam, bored over, Hei distributor, Edlebrock carburetor and intake, new valve covers, all new hoses, battery, Spectre red air cleaners, new 140 amp alternator, new fuel pump and recorded radiator. Motor and engine compartment is very clean with no grime or buildup. Transmission is still the original powerglide and shifts like it did from day one with no hesitation. This is a factory power steering and power brake car and all work as they should. You can drive this car daily if needed or just on the winds to your local car show or get together.

Suspension, Trunk & Undercarriage: Recently installed Accuair E level full bolt on airride kit...not a cheap no name kit here. It has 2 480 compressors, 2 5 gallon aluminum 1 piece tanks. This car can be put back to stock just buy changing back to the coil springs. There's a new gas tank and fuel sending unit, newer exhaust with 2 inch pipe, newer wheel bearings front and rear, new rear axles, new rear shocks, etc...real clean underneath. Trunk is super clean all all original and shows no signs of rust or soft spots. Recently installed trunk mat and tank decals to top it off.

Wheels & Tires: Car is currently rolling on a brand new set of staggered Intro billet wheels that look great. Just spent almost $4k on this wheel and tire setup. Also, I have a few other sets of rim and tire options for a cheaper price. Have a set of stock 14s with new tires and ss hubcaps, a set of 13 inch all black wire wheels with newer tires( 1 pic shown)and another set of chrome staggered Coys wheels 20s & 18s. I will discuss different prices with serious buyers. Brakes are still 4 wheel drum but work great, I left them drums so I can still put stocks and hubcaps if I wanted.

Car has a clean California title in my name and is currently registered and ready for immediate sale. I have sold numerous cars out of the country and can help with getting the car to the California port of your choice at a reduced rate. My car is very nice in and out and is priced accordingly. Above I've tried to be as thorough as possible when describing my car but if you have anymore questions or concerns please don't hesitate to call or text me 408-71two-942seven or email the listing above. Thanks!
