1968 Chevrolet Nova
1968 Chevrolet Nova Description
Very rare 1968 Nova 327, L79, 4 speed. This car was ordered in December of 1967 by Marvin Coleman at Shallabarger Chevrolet in Casper Wyoming and received in March 1968. I have the original purchase agreement and an affidavit from Marvin and his wife supporting the L79 heritage of the car. Owners are still in same area and can be contacted. Car is gold with black bucket seat interior, the seats will needs recovered and door panels are trash but present. The car came new with a 12 bolt posi rearend but was removed by an interim owner now has a 10 bolt, there is a muncie 4 speed with the car. The original owner blew up the engine in 1974 but the car comes with a true 68 L79 from another car. The motor has the correct EP siffix code denoting 325 horse and it is not a restamp, the date stamp is perfect for the build date of the car but the motor does have the vin from another car it came from. The body panels are all rust free as is the floors and trunk. The L79 in 68 was very rare and is extremely hard to find today especially in a body that retains all its original panels. The hard part is done so you don't have to put it in body shop jail to get it painted and wait for their lies, delays and overages to begin. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the ad at anytime. email with questions or contact information. In person inspections are encouaged.
