1940 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description

Up for sale is a cool 1940 Chevy hot rod pickup. This truck is fast, reliable, and a blast to drive. Lots of time and money invested. All new parts were used on this build.
Full frame off build. This truck was completely dissembled. Not a single nut, bolt, or screw left untouched.
Heidts Mustang II setup with drop spindles and disk brakes. New custom made rear leaf springs were built for the truck.
New chrome bumpers, grill, hood ornament, mirrors.
All new smoked glass
Nice solid floors. New complete steel bed. New oak bed floor and stainless strips. New fenders and running boards.
Nice paint, color sanded and buffed. This truck was completelydisassembledwhen it was painted. Body is nice. There is a bubble on the passenger side door that can be seen in the pics.
Vintage Air blows ice cold.
LED taillights
New Coker radial wide whitewalls, new wheel Vintique smoothies, new caps, new ribbed trim rings.
Professionally done custom interior. Teas Design seat ($1100 for the frame alone), plush carpet, Lokar shifter, E brake, and pedals. Power windows. Nice sounding stereo hidden in the glove box.Beede Gauges, custom dash with 3 custom built gauge housings. Painless wiring harness. Shaved door handles with door poppers. Tilt column with a banjo steering wheel.
The motor in the truck was professionallybuilt by Buttons Machine Shop. It is a 327, bored .040 over, balanced, 461 double hump heads, Comp Cam, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb, HEI distributor, and hooker headers, aluminum pullies, chrome GM 1 wire alternator. Motor runs awesome. It starts easy, runs cool, makes good power, and sounds awesome. It has a nice aluminum radiator and nice electric dual fan shroud setup. The trans is a built th350 that shitfs great. Rear end is a rebuilt Ford 9".
This is a 4 year old build with 1200 miles since completed. Its ready to hop in a drive. It was built right using quality parts.
It can be bought for far less than what it cost to build.
