2011 Chevrolet Impala LT Fleet Description

2011 Chevy Impala LT- Dedicated Compressed Natural Gas(CNG)

This vehicle does not run on regular gasoline, but runs on clean burning compressed natural gas (CNG).
The dedicated CNG conversion was performed by a Chevrolet Dealer at a total cost of$15,000.The conversion kit is a top of the line IMPCO CNG system which is certified by the EPA. The conversion was done at25K miles and has been performing flawlessly since it was installed. It is a 2 tank system and has a range of about 300 miles.
This car has been mycommuter vehicle foryears now and I take excellent care of my vehicles. It is a commuters dream. It has been maintained very well andnever smoked in. The reason I'm selling it because I need to buy a truck. I had planned on keeping this for a long time, but my situation has changed, so I've got to let the Impala go.
The drivers seat's inside cushions have been replaced by a professional auto upholstery outfit. If you are spending hours a day in the seat, you want it to be very comfortable. The stock foam just wasn't cutting it.
The windows are tinted including a silver oxide tint on the windshield. It blocks 100% of the UV rays and 50% of the relentless sun's radiant heat....makes for a pleasant day on the road.
The CNG system has been installed and maintained by a certified IMPCO technician. I have had ZERO problems with the system, it is the premier system on the market.
It is possible toget about 33.5 MPG if you cruise at 60 MPH on the highway...but I typically cruise at70 MPH, so the mileage drops to 28-30 MPG. If youdrive very conservative, you can extend yourrange. In town, it gets in the low 20's on the MPG.

The AC works great and blows cold. All other functions operate perfect as far as I know. I drive it every dayanddon't know anything that is wrong with it.

Vehicle had a complete wrap on it from 25k to 80k miles, so the paint was protected during the majority of its life.

Power and size is better when compared to the Honda Civic, which is the only other readily available CNG vehicle. The seating is also much better than the cloth seats in the Civics. I own 2 CNG Civics and this Impala andbelieve me, this Impala is the one you want for highway cruising.

Has the factory BOSE radio system, fog lights, cruise control, power windows/door locks, moon roof, remote start, grey leather seats, etc. Fully loaded for a LT edition.

I have the Impco conversion paperwork and all the receipts from the installation and service. Also included are the Impco Owners Manual and Chevy Owners Manual.

I have 2 keys and remote control units.

The spare tire is the factory unit and fits perfectly under thelarge CNG tank.

Let me know if you have any questions and I can also drop it off at a local mechanic (Jenks, OK 74037) to get a pre-purchase inspection. You just call them and setup the payment and I'll drop the car off.

We can help make arrangements for meeting somewhere to deliver the car as long as it's not too far away. I'll probably be willing to meet you as far as 8 hours away from Tulsa, OK. You can always arrange for shipping as well...whatever works best for you and your location.

I installed a few items which aren't factory (All work fine, but are modifications none the less):

  • Garmin GPS unit is mounted to the dash and hard wired to power on with the key and off when you turn the car off
  • Added a Bluetooth connection to the AUX input. Allows for you to stream audio from your phone as well as make calls through the car speaker system.
  • Replaced the factory engine air filter with a K&N lifetime filter, just clean and re-oil it and it will last for a very long time.

Recent services:

  • New struts & springs all the way around (March 2017 - $1,200)
  • New sway bar end links and bushings, front & rear (March 2017 - $200)
  • 4-Wheel Alignment (April 2017 - $85)
  • New tires about 10,000 miles ago, but they have a 80,000 mile warranty (Oct 2016 - $500)

Known Issues:

  • Leaks a little oil. I get anoccasional drop on the floor in the garage and just deal with wiping it up every few weeks. It's probably from a valve cover or lower intake manifold gasket (definitelynot the rear main seal).
  • A/C blend door actuator on the driver's side sometimes sticks, which causes a clicking sound...but it has always made it to the where it needed to go. I will stop by the Chevy dealer and purchase a new actuator and will include it with the car so it can be changed when it does finally give out.
