1996 Chevrolet Corvette Description

Located in Lake Geneva Wisconsin, this is as nice a “driver” as you will likely find for the money. This ragtop will make the perfect first Corvette for someone interested to join the crossed flags club. This car features the one year only Grand Sport LT4 engine, sporting 330 hp and 340 ft. lbs. of torque, coupled to a six-speed manual ZF transmission. The Collector’s Edition option includes attractive Sebring Silver paint and matching ZR-1 wheels, so you can look good while having summer fun. To top it all off, the Corsa performance exhaust system produces a richly mellow, bad-boy, rumbling resonance, and some bonus power to boot.

The paint is very good with just a few minor rock chips. The interior is an 8 out of ten. Tires have plenty of tread. Mechanically, the car and engine are dialed in. It drives as designed to by the Corvette engineers. No leaks. Top is in very good condition. Car is stored with a cover, in a heated garage, and is only driven in good weather. There are just over 71,000 miles on the clock…only 3,250 for each year of its life. I the have window sticker and dealer brochure plus all glovebox paperwork and lots of service records and two keys.

Analog temperature gauge does not work, however, the digital back-up does. Rubber weather-stripping is starting to show its age. AC could use a charge, but since I only drive this car with the top down, I haven’t bothered to service it.
