2001 Chevrolet Camaro Police Description

This was one of the last Camaros in service for the NCSHP & I got it in 2012. It comes with documentation to verify it's service including a stickeron driver doorpost with a serial number from the NC Dept. of Crime Control & Public Safety. Also included is my log of all service work done onit since then & also a notebookfull of related articles, brochures, pictures of an in service Camaro, etc.
Raced twice while I have owned it at Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, SC in 2014 & 2015, track days where car was driven at speed for 100laps each time.It reached over 120 on the long straightaway & 80 plus in turn 8. A blast to drive we drove it to the track, went thru tech, raced100 laps, then put it back together& drove it home. This is an awesome road car that handles as good as my 3 corvettes and a Shelby previouslyowned. When cruising at 55 & punching the gasit pins you in in the seat. AC blows cold and a recently installed CD player & new speakers soundexcellent. On the curves it corners flat at almost any speed. This car is capable of exceeding 155 miles an hour for which it is rated.
This car has received many improvements & repairs to keep it functioning as you would expect a car like this. Jasper reman transmission, recentlyreplacedheadlights, tune up, Akebono Brakes, Michelin Tires, Z rated, slightly scuffed from track days. All fluids & filters replaced regularly. Theinterior is in good shapeshowing some wear on the drivers seat, also the steering wheel has been replaced. The exterior looks clean in black, hassome minor nicks & scratches as youwould expect with a service vehicle like this. While I recently replaced both window motors the right side isnot now working, the ashtray lid on console is broken. Car just passed the annual NC Emission Inspection. These cars were actually Z28 deletecars meaning the emblems were left off & have a solid roof panel.
Please no joy rides or tire kickers, I don't need help selling this car nor do I have to sell it! Please read the description & look at the picturesbefore buying. The Camaro can be stored for a new owner if needed.
