1988 Chevrolet Suburban 1/2 ton Silverado
1988 Chevrolet Suburban Silverado Description
This suburban was purchased new by my father 29 years ago and it was handed down to me. The transmission was replaced about 70000 miles ago and works perfect. The motor was replaced about 160000 miles ago and runs great. It uses about a quart of oil between oil changes. I can't see any fluid leak and if it has any they are very minor. Both motor and transmition were GM crate products from the dealer. Every thing works except for the rear window only operates from inside. AC was converted over to 134A. The paint is only about a year old and is in good shape. It had some door dings and small dents and the body work didn't come out very good. The dark paint shows the imperfections so please don't by this vehicle for a show peace, it is not. Mechanical it is a solid vehicle and it was delivered two Baton Rouge La and stayed here so it only has a small amount of surface rust on the Frame. The tires are about 80%. It has had a few bumps down through the years but nothing major. All the door rubber has been replaced and the window felts so it is very tight. The front Window vent rubber was not replaced but is not in bad shape. The front hood ornament was removed when the work was done. If you have any more questions I will respond.
