2003 Chevrolet Astro Description

Super clean 2003 Chevy Astro AWD built for fun going up for sale..
YES, it's not stock, YES, it's a "I really don't want to sell it" price far above blue book, but this is NOT a blue book van!
THIS IS A 7 DAY OFFERING ONLY, I AM NOT GOING TO RELIST IT!
I WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK WITH ANY POTENTIAL BUYERS BEFORE SELLING IT!
(Thule cartop carrier/box NOT INCLUDED IN SALE)

Please be sure to watch the embedded video lower in description, it was made a few months back so disregard any specific info about mileage, condition
is exactly the same!
The basics:
-Vortec v6, solid as the day is long, minor oil leaks
(anyone selling you a vortec v6 claiming no leaks at all, is lying, VERY minor on this one, valve cover seals as best I can tell)
-Clean body, glossy paint, few tiny dings all around a solid 8/10
-Automatic (solid smooth shifting, recently serviced)
-Power everything except seats, and everything works
183,000 miles at time of listing, clean Oregon title
I personally did all the customizing, you don't even want to know how many hours I have into it!
Being sold ONLY because of financial hardship, this is/was a project of passion and I'm a nut for doing things right!!
New mechanical items since I bought it with 155k miles on it:
-4" Lift kit from Overland Vans (new rear leaf packs, new torsion keys & balljoint relocators up front)
-Rancho 5000 shocks all around
-Kenda Klever 30x9.5x16 M/t's on aluminum black wheels
-New control arms, wheel hubs & all new brakes up front, bearings etc...
-Axles (front)
-Transmission cooler
-Alternator, Optima yellowtop battery, oil return lines, plugs & wires, and many other smaller maintenance items I just cannot remember right now
New exterior customizing since 155k miles:

-3" tube light bar powder coated to match, holding two 7" Anzo HID floods lights mounted to an old school foot high beam switch on driver floor
-5000k top of the line Opt7 LED Headlights
-Rhino rack aluminum cargo basket with rear & side facing 35w LED floods mounted to 3 mini rocker switches in overhead console (lights up the night)
-2 flush mounted 35w LED floods mounted to rear bumper hooked to backup wire
4 35w LED floods mounted to sides & back of Rhino cargo rack
-6x8" smittybilt awning over slider/passenger door (not used once yet)
-Permanently mounted Yakima 54" fairing
-Rear mounted jerry cans, drivers side gas, passenger side is actually a disguised as a gas can toolbox ..
-Rear mounted pelican case, perfect for receiver hitch/tow strap & snow chains, a "dirty" box with padlocks
Van still has the original 2 rear seats, interior is just as clean as exterior, no pics at the moment but check out the video in description here.
New CD/Dvd deck, top of the line TomTom GPS mounted to swivel on dash, and a rad vintage coleman steel belted cooler that sits perfectly between front bucket seats for storage/refridge/armrest!

This is an AMAZING rig specifically built for getting out in the back country
This wasn't built to be a rock crawler or hard core wheeler, though it articulates in outstanding fashion and
has NEVER even given me a threat of getting stuck, it's a TIGER in snow & sand!
Current minor flaws:
Cracked windshield (I will get replaced as soon as a deposit is made on the sale)
Like most Chevy trucks/vans, has bad connection in ABS control module, so the "brake" dash lights come on intermittently, brakes are FINE
Throws a P420 code every 2,000 miles or so, just a bad sensor somewhere, doesn't affect anything, just annoying
A few minor interior flaws, drivers door armrest has cracks on it (very common on these vans), the flip down armrest on drives seat
has a broken pin on it so just kind of flops
Could use an alignment & rear brakes & bearings likely needed in the next 5-10k miles
I would get in this van & do a 5,000 mile road trip TODAY, it's READY TO ROLL!
AGAIN, THULE CARTOP CARGO BOX NOT INCLUDED!

I would REALLY like to talk to any potential buyers prior to purchase/accepting offer: 503.875.4557
