2003 Chevrolet S-10 ZR5 Description

These trucks have a good reputation. I bought this truck from my son in law because he bought a van for his business and didn't want to be bothered with a transmission repair. It's a nice truck so we bought it to keep it in the family. We knew it needed a transmission repair and I intended on doing it but I haven't had the time and now we're getting ready to move out of state so all my projects need to go to clean up this place to sell the house. The transmission wouldn't go from 2nd gear to 3rd .. Could just be a simple fix if you know how to work on them. I don't. The under body is nice .. no rust .. which is why I wanted to keep it. It's a nice truck for someone with time. I have the old transmission which is a part of this sale. I took it out along with the exhaust (included also) so that's done .. LOL The engine doesn't start obviously because the transmission is out but if you know what you're looking at, you can tell this engine is looking good and has plenty of life still in it. My son in law takes care of his vehicles ... another reason I bought it.
Good deal for someone. I really hate to sell it. It will need tires and battery is low from sitting. Someone keyed the side of the truck on the passenger side (an angry friend that wanted to buy the truck ... can you believe it) but you can hardly notice it. That paint still has its clear coat and looks great.

You're basically buying this with what you see in the pics which is why we're starting the truck out so low. Make an appointment to see the truck before you bid is always best. We don't know much about the electrics inside because we received the truck this way. You can look up the options by the vin number. I'm not sure what it has beside being a 4x4 sport package. :) It would clean up nice.
