1954 Chevrolet Other Pickups GMC 5 WINDOW CAB Description

I have for sale a 1954 GMC 100 5 window pickup.Please look at all the pictures they give the best description. what I can tell you is the engine has a crack in the block the full length of the engine on the left side. I DID GET THE ENGINE RUNNING and drove the truck on a 2 mile round trip. It handled quite well, although the brakes got worse the more I drove it. I don't know if the lights work, it looks like it was a 3 speed on the colum but someone put a 4 speed on the floor in it. the 4 speed does hook up to the enclosed drive shaft properly. Someone also put in an electric fuel pump. the only rim that is original is the spare tire rim. It is my understanding that these 1954 GMC 5 window pickups are somewhat rare. THE SERIAL NO. IS 101 24 C Z4885. I was also told there are less than 200 of these trucks around.(I cannot verify that information) I took pictures of the cab corner rust holes from the inside because the pictures taken from the outside do not show them. I bought this truck on JUNE 11th and decided that the project was too much for me. The person I bought the truck from has applied for a title and is going to forward that to me a.s.a.p. At that point in time I will forward the title to the winning bidder. As of right now I do not have the title. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING. Even though I did drive it; I think it would be a good idea to winch it onto a truck/trailer.Note: Actual mileage on the vehicle is unknown at this time.
