For sale is a 1997 Chevy Suburban K-2500 with a brand new engine at 91,562 milesinstalled at the dealership in Nov. 2015. Current engine has 141,566 miles.Its a nice blue Silverado trim model with a straight body,shinychrome bumpers, 4 doors, barn doors at the back, 4WD 3/4 ton that has served us well for 12 years. It has spent the majority of its life in the NW. It has upgraded wheels, newer tires, roof rack, AC, cruise control, trip odometer, steering wheel tilt adjust, power locks, reading lights,electrochromic rearview mirror with compass, 2 accessory power outlets near cigarette lighter, ashtray, garage door opener compartment, sunglasses compartment, CD compartment, center floor console, memo pad holder, cup holders 3 in front, 2 in middle row, slide out drawer at bottom of console, cargo tie downs, rear cargo lock switch, child safety locks, power windows, rear air conditioning and heating adjustable from front or middle row, rear window defogger, power seats, seats recline, folding rear bench seat,adjustable head rests, 60/40 middle seat, either side of middle row folds down for more cargo space and a load floor can be created, third row may also be removed, dual airbags, shoulder belt height adjusters, and leather interior that could use someTLC at the door seats. Tow package max 7,000 lbs. The right side barn door no longer stays open on its own. Twokeys, one power lock remote,original mats and owners manual included, along withoriginal warranty and owners assistance information booklet.
We have all the service records, it has been maintained well. The new engine was installed at 91,567 miles, invoices and receipt included in records. Recent work includes a new ACevaporator core. There is anintermittent blinker noise, blinker box changed out and sound remains at random intervals and duration. It was undetectable to an interested buyer with some hearing loss, it can be irritating on long road trips and needs fixed. The covering over the garage door remote hideaway broke on one hinge, we still have it if someone wants to repair that, 2 small adjuster dials for the bass and R-L speaker adjustments are lost, but can still be adjusted. There is an area on the hood and roof that recently started to discolor, but the paint is otherwise in fine condition, and there is a thin pinstripe along the body consistent with the Silverado edition of this Suburban that has faded over time.
We have really enjoyed this vehicle over the years and it has served us well.
