1962 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door post. Correct 62 409block built to 409HP, correct carbs, correct heads,correct4 speed transmission and correct rear end w/410 gears. The car was acomplete frame off restoration using many NOS Parts. Painted to factory spec color: Adobe Beige and the paint looks period perfect. The car looks amazing and drives even better. It needs nothing!I bought the car over a year ago and have only driven it about 100 miles. I did not do any of the work except had a completely new correct exhaust systeminstalled and replace the door glass. I removed the header cut outsasseen in some of the oldpics from when I bought it.The car does have headers but other than that is very original & correct. This is not a factory 409 V8 Car....It is however a very correct 62 409with all theright stuff. Interior is amazing and most people thinks it's untouched original. NOS Material was used when they restored it. I'm not a 409 expert so if you are that's great....maybe we can figure everything out. The car is super nice with zero rust anywhere andzero patch panels. The car is currently registered and aclearCAtitle in my name. I have had a couple of these cars and this is by farthe nicest I have had or seen. These cars are very difficult tofind &inCalifornia almost impossible. Please ask questions before bidding and I encourage an inspection or come see the car for your self...it's even better in person. The car is located in Santa Ana (Southern California) Some of the pics I used were from the website where I original bought it. The pics in my driveway are current.

**I'll try to take better pics tomorrow. I will end the auction at anytime for local sale or $BUY IT NOW$. So if you are really interested please make an offer. No scammers or BS !!

Here is the listing from when I bought the car a year ago....Frame-off restored about 1000 miles ago on this 2dr Post Chevy. This car was a 6cylinder when new. The motor in the car now is a 1962 409 CI Block.
This car started it's life in California as a 6 cyl, 3 speed and we all know most of them had an easy life compared to the V8. That being said if you are a purest you may want to move on but if you want a high quality rotisserie restoration that is period correct then read on. Engine block # is 3788068 which is a 1962 409. The heads are 690 with correct data codes. Trans is the correct Borg Warner T-10 with the correct shifter. The rear end is correct, 1962 posi with 410 gears. Radio & heater delete, Rare one piece California bumpers. This car is a rust free car with all the original panels, floors and trunk pan. "NO PATCH PANELS EVER" Paint is Adobe Beige and fit and finish are unbelievable with no ripples or waves at all. Correct wheels, tires and hubcaps. All stainless and trim are NOS. Interior is correct and perfect. This car is museum quality in every way. The only thing that keeps this car from being the real deal is one digit in the vin number and most of all the price.
