2016 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS Description

Due to life changes (moving from Arizona to Hawaii), as often happens, I've concluded that it is time to part with my baby. After much thought and research, I ordered my beautiful 2016 Camaro SS straight from the factory with the specific options that would allow me to successfully achieve my plan...to enjoy a car that I could drive to work or drive to the track...a car that was capable of running 1/4 mile times in the 9's. My "Red Rocket" was born. Cordes Performance Racing (CPR) has been involved since the beginning and is the only shop that has worked on the car. They are well known and have a great reputation for doing fantastic work (check out their Facebook page). Included with the photos is one of the invoice for the first phase of the build with Procharger and Alky Control setup. CPR also used my Camaro to develop their low side fuel system (see photo), and included is a dyno graph of the before and after pulls. In addition, we also did a tune using VP MS109 vs. Torco 108 (see video) and saw some great gains. I have also included images of time slips; one is 100% stock in 4000DA (density altitude), one is after upgrades with stock tires spinning at 4000DA, and the last is with drag radials at 5700DA (see video). Additionally, there is a time slip from running at the Omega 1/2 mile event on 91 octane pump gas. The downside is that I lifted the rings in two cylinders when switching from the pump gas tune to race gas at Omega because I did not burn all of the 91 octane out of the fuel system before a hard run (my mistake). However, should you be the lucky buyer, here's a great opportunity. The rebuild/upgrades have already been worked out with Joe at CPR (copy included). This build would make 800+ rwhp and push the car well into the 9's while still being very driveable for around town cruising. Included with the car is a set of OEM C6Z wheels with p-zero fronts and Mickey Thompson 305/45-18 ET Street R rears. I have around $65,000 invested and have simply set my asking price to cover my loan payoff. Please contact me with any questions. If you have questions about the build, please contact Joe at CPR. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping arrangements. Although I'm living in Hawaii, the car is stored with my Dad in Greenville, MI. If you'd like to see the car, please contact me and I can put you in touch with my Dad. The car does start and can be loaded onto a trailer for shipping. Happy bidding, Eric
