1996 Chevrolet Corvette LT1 Description

Imagine cruising down the highway with the top down and enjoying a beautiful summer day, wind in your hair, your favorite tunes blasting out from the Bose stereo, and the feeling of a finely tuned LT1 under the hood, giving you all the power you could ever want. And more.
It can all be yours with this beautiful Corvette convertible! The color is Arctic white, with a tan interior. Dash is black, as is some of the trim and the convertible top. This 'Vette was the last year of the C-4 generation of Corvettes. 0 to 60 in 5.7 seconds, with a 300 hp Chevy small block 5.7 litre (350ci) at 10: 4: 1 compression ratio. This car also had 3 notable options: the convertible top, the 200 watt Bose sound system and a low tire pressure monitor in the dash. The transmission is automatic. You'll have a hard time keeping your foot off the throttle once you experience what this car is capable of. Sitting in the driver's seat, you'll feel as if the seat 'embraces' you - it really is surprisingly comfortable for a sports car.
A clean car overall with a very small amount of normal wear on the passenger seat, and a little scuffing where the convertible top touches the car's body. (see pics). The carpet is good, the dash looks perfect with no cracking, the stereo sounds awesome, power windows, power seats and power door locks are all in working order.
The base price for a Corvette convertible in 1996 was $42,500. New, it stated fuel economy at 17 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. This is a fun little ride for a lot less than you would imagine. Smart you...waiting until your dream car became extremely affordable!
Don't hesitate - this cool head-turner will sell quickly with a low reserve!
