1941 Chevrolet Other Description

1941 Chevy Hot Rod Truck.
Body - Chevy truck cab with custom front nose modified from a Packard deck lid and packard trim to follow beauty lines. Custom grill and cool old Overland headlights. The bulbs inside have been converted to LED. It also has the original style fold-out windshield.Chassis - Custom built chassis with 56 Ford F-100 dropped front axle with Model-A leaf spring, T-Bird independent rear with added air shocks for load-carrying capabilities, trailer receiver hitch built into frame; truck steering box with added steeringdampener.Brakes - Drum brakes all around with corvette style master cylinder/booster combo under the floor.Engine - Mid-mounted Chev 350 has low-miles, turned crank with new bearings, new high torque cam, rebuilt Vortec heads, new lifters and rocker arms, FiTech fuel injection, recurved HEI distributor, block-hugger headers and dual exhaust; Turbo 350 transmission which cruises at freeway speeds. We estimate over 300 HP but still gets around 18mpg with the fuel injection.Aluminum crossflow radiator up front and electric fan controlled by the fuel injection software.Bed - Custom flatbed built around weathered red oak bed wood. Real explosive ammo boxes installed under the bed for hauling tools/cargo straps.Fuel tank made from old propane tank (around 10 gallons). Tank on opposite side could be used later to enhance capacity and distance.Wheels and tires - 15" wheels all around with chrome beauty rings. Biased-ply tires 7.10-15 up front and 7.00-15LT for the rear.Interior - Seat out of a Chevy Tahoe I believe. Stained plywood floor, copper painteddash with Equus analog gauges (no fuel gauge).
*Vehicle does not have wipers or door glass. It was meant to be driven in fair weather. They can be easily added later. Speedo also hasn't been hooked up. It needs 2 cables spliced together in order to reach the transmission…or a different gauge with electronic or GPS input. We've just been using a GPS app on the phone which works quite nicely.
Vehicle was well built but is being sold as is with no warranty.Vehicle was built, titled, and registered in Utah as a vintage vehicle. You may need to check your state's requirements for licensing.Vehicle is also for sale locally and we reserve the right to end auction early for short sale.
