2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS Description

You are looking at a 1 owner 2006 Trailblazer SS AWD. My 78 year old mother ordered this vehicle new from Bob Hook Chevrolet in Louisville, KY.

Vehicle has NO WARRANTY expressed or implied! Sold AS IS.

PROS:

The interior is in good condition and is clean. This vehicle has never been smoked in.

Included is a GM replacement seat panel (needs installation) for driver’s side seat (see red circle in photo).

It has had a set of Husky all weather floor mats in it since new.

I have always kept the seats covered and protected.

All accessories function properly.

Included are 2 factory key fobs and a $600 Viper remote start system.

Air bag suspension functions properly. I don't have the tire inflator kit as it has been misplaced.

AC blows cold/Heat blows hot.

Oil has been changed regularly either by myself or the dealership with Mobil 1 Synthetic oil and Mobil 1 extended performance oil filter.

In the last 6 months, wiper motors and wiper transmission has been replaced with new GM parts.

In the last year, I replaced the blower motor, blower motor resistor, and wiring/wiring connector.

The starter was also replaced with a NAPA lifetime warranty starter.

I have replaced all 4 rotors and pads with drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads.

I also replaced the steering wheel position sensor and YAW rate sensor with GM parts.

It has been a good, dependable vehicle as long as I have owned it.

CONS:

Even though this vehicle is in good shape, it is 10+ years old and does have some issues.

It has some hail damage on roof, hood, and driver's side. Pictures are included of this damage but it is hard to see the dents in them. There are also pictures of minor dings and scrapes. Areas with damage are circled in red on photos.

It is throwing trouble codes for throttle body and throttle pedal sensor- which need to be replaced. This or a wheel speed sensor is causing the vehicle's ABS to activate under 3 mph when coming to a stop. Additionally this is causing the stabilitrak to activate, which is a common problem on Trailblazer SSs. If the stabilitrak is turned off, the vehicle drives normally issue.

This vehicle was involved in 2 minor accidents but did not require any paintwork or repairs.

Vehicle is sold AS IS, Where IS. Buyer is responsible for picking up or shipping the vehicle upon purchase. Buyer will also have the option to purchase 5 original 20 inch Trailblazer SS wheels upon auction completion for the sum of $500 as only steel wheels with Bridgestone Blizzak tires are included in the auction.

A $500 deposit is required 24 hours after the end of the auction via pay pal.
