2000 Chevrolet S10 LS Swap 5.3L V8 Vortec 4l60E Lowered
2000 Chevrolet S-10 LS Description
Up for Auction:
2000 S10 with 5.3L LS swap and 4L60E transmission. This one was built to drive! A friend built it and sold it to me a few months ago. It's been a fun truck, but I have too many toys and this one has to go. This one can be driven anywhere. Very dependable. The paint is a 9.5 out of 10! All of the gauges work as they should. The wiring was done correctly and features a Current Performance wiring harness. Everything works, except it doesn't have AC. It has a heavy-duty aluminum radiator and dual electric fans.
The rear tires on the truck were getting old and dry rotted, so I'm installing new Hankook radials on Race Star wheels. See the pics of the new tires above. The old rear tires and wheels aren't included. The rear wheels are 15x8 and front are 17x4.
The engine is a 70k mile 5.3L that runs like a new one! It features an LS1 intake manifold and billet fuel rails. The headers are stainless steel and exhaust is routed to the rear, through the rear roll pan.
The transmission is a 4L60E that was built by TCI Automotive. It's only got a few hundred miles on it. The torque converter is a TCI 242931 Street Fighter. It's rated at 3000 stall speed. There is an external transmission cooler with it's own cooling fan below the truck. The rear end was built with Moser 28 spline axles, a Detroit Locker center section and 4.10 gears were also installed. The traction bars resemble Cal Tracs, but I was told they were made locally. They look and work great! The truck has been lowered 2/3 and has a nice stance.
The interior is tastefully modified with some comfortable Corbeau Leather seats. It also features a center console with carbon fiber top and a console shifter. I just had a new windshield installed.
It's a very dependable truck that I'd trust to drive anywhere. You can come here and drive it home. The truck is located in Ripley, MS. Happy Bidding!
