1986 Chevrolet M1009 CUCV Blazer SUV, Model #CD-10516, 4WD – 4x4 - 4-Wheel Drive, 2-Door Regular Cab, GM 6.2 Liter V8 Diesel Engine, Automatic Transmission w/Overdrive, Hydraulic Brakes, Spring Suspension, Vent – Heat - Defrost, Manual Windows, Manual Locks, Vinyl Seats, Metal Floor, GVWR - 6,400#, GAWR Front – 2,945#, GAWR Rear – 3,455#, Vehicle Curb Weight – 5,200#, Payload Max – 1,200#, 33x12.50R-15LT Tires, Receiver Hitch, VIN: 1G8ED18J7GF139069, 92,387 Miles.

Located in Mississippi, this SUV originally belonged to the United States Army and was used as an emergency response vehicle by them, in 2012 it was transferred to our State Government here in Mississippi, in 2015 it was handed down to a local county fire department here in South Mississippi and has done very little since then, basically a hand me down! We purchased it directly from the local county along with some other items, not from a broker or dealer, simply turning the truck into cash. The SUV cranks right up, has a hot battery, engine runs great, transmission shifts fine, miles are less than 100k which is normal for a military vehicle to have low miles, the tires condition can clearly be seen in the photos, the SUV has been painted red by the State and was originally military green which can be seen inside, in the door frames and under the hood, the red paint is faded and worn off in spots – needs a new paint job, body is straight, interior has a few torn spots in the seats, the rear gate handle/window knob is broke and the cover is missing, we would suggest a good servicing and lubing from one end to the other because it has not been used much in the last several years, also please note this is a military vehicle, it is very tough, very rugged, overbuilt and also is not fast, travels down the road 55mph and will not go much faster, is not made to get on the Interstate and run 70mph, may reach that speed but will be wide open, it does not have cruise, air conditioning, etc., rough tough rugged (plain) military vehicle! You are purchasing the SUV with a clean, clear, transferable title which will be given at time of payment or sent via/FedEx if you are having it hauled. It is fully operational, roadworthy with the exception of the dry crack tires, would suggest having it hauled if you are from a distance because of the travel speed.
