2007 Chevrolet Corvette LT3 Description
Additional/updated photos coming!
For sale is my personal C6 Corvette. This was my dream car and still is, but like many Corvette owners, this is our 4th vehicle and besides not being enjoyed enough, we are looking to pursue another investment. I have the vehicle priced aggressively and fairly for its condition and age - I will be as up-front and honest with my listing, but at the same time, please don't expect a garage queen. I'm pretty fussy about my vehicles and I think it's in very good condition. Some people may see it and say it's in excellent condition and some people might think otherwise. At the end of the day; it's a 400HP vehicle that had an original MSRP of $60k+ and I have it priced similarly to similar examples with 75,000 miles or aren't optioned the way this is.
I wasn't aware at the time of purchasing; it was an impulse buy at a small dealership, but confirmed by the provided AutoCheck shows an accident in 2007. This may turn some people away and I respect that, but I honestly find it hard to believe based on the condition it is in. I have driven vehicles that have been in accidents and you can immediately feel that something is wrong, but this doesn't show any of those symptoms. I encourage you to have it independtely inspected, but the accident was a decade ago and nearly 35,000 miles ago. I'm not in the business of selling lemons to people.
About the vehicle.
Purchased in July 2015 from Gore's Corvettes in Greenville, SC with just under 40,000 miles.
Current Mileage: 43,600ish
Transmission: Automatic
Exterior: Victory Red
Interior: Ebony Black
Features: 3LT, LS2 400hp with Navigation, Heated Seats, Heads-Up Display (HUD), and Paddle Shifters.
New battery in 2016. New BF Goodrich G-Force tires with less than 1,000 miles on them in 2016. Blemish/scratch-free chrome wheels. Both key fobs. Clean title in-hand.
Everything works as it should with the exception of the ashtray which does not stay closed. I tried repairing it myself and failed, so I learned to live with it. Also, I can confirm it does need brakes and rotors which has been taken into the price. I have quoted out Power Stop aftermarket brake kits for under $400 and you can find almost any mechanic to install them under $160/axle. The vehicle passed a state inspection less than 30 days ago and is road ready. You're completely able to stop and it's not making any grinding noises, they're just at the end of their life. You could probably drive the vehicle fine for another 6 months to year before really needing to do that repair.
The small crack shown in the picture was there when I bought it. Up that close, yes, it looks horrific, but stand back 2 feet and you honestly cannot tell it is there. It is just under the driver's side door.
The other small picture of a blemish under the tail light is a small "chip" about the size of a dime. Again, it was there when I bought it and with a buy it now price of $22,200, you have some wiggle room to decide what matters to you.
Personally, I would bet that 99% of people in the market for a Corvette under $25,000 would just let them be.
The vehicle sold as-is in a suburb just north of Charlotte, NC (Huntersville). I'm willing to assist with shipping and/or private inspections, at the buyer's responsibility and expense - I do not work for free, so please don't ask me to drive it to South Carolina so your cousin's nephew can check it out.
A $1,000 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction ending (or equal documentation showing serious interest; I.E. a plane ticket to Charlotte). Full payment is due within 7 days after auction ending. Certified check, cash, or bank wire only. No PayPal, money orders, Princes from Africa money, etc. I am not going to export the car overseas, so don't ask.
Thank you for your interest and God bless.
