1992 Chevrolet Corvette Description

1992 corvette coupe street strip car. only 44k original miles, dark metallic green with white leather interior. (Rare combo) Auto meter gauges and tach with shift light. It has a professionally done TIG welded roll bar, its a 6 point but the door bars were missing when i bought the car so currently its a 4 point. but the swing out mounts are all in place so it would be easy to make some door bars up if needed. the car was converted to a TH400 trans and it has a fully built Rossler TH400 with trans brake and B&M pro stick shifter. Built 3.73 Dana 44 rear with upgraded steel drive and half shafts. C5 Z06 speedine wheels front and rear with good tires. The engine is a freshly built 383 that has less than a couple thousand miles on it and no track time. It came from another project I had that was barely driven. It's a 4 bolt block, eagle rotating assy, Trick Flow 195cc heads, Vic junior intake and Holley 750 race carb, MSD ignition and MSD billet dist. Weiand water pump and March accessory brackets. The body is all stock except for a high rise Toledo Pro cowl hood. (Needs to be painted to match obviously) HVAC box blocked off on the engine side (all under dash stuff still there), and wiper motor removed (it's included and can be reinstalled if you use different valve covers) Hooker super comp headers and nice 3" dual exhaust sounds great. This was a 10 sec car with the old LT1 in it.. shoudl be 11.50-11.70 range now with this engine. I just got the car together and running but am in the middle of buying a house and have no time for it so it must go. I would still consider this a minor project, not something you could hop in and drive away. But it will drive on a trailer no problem. Will still need to be timed and tuned and get and bugs worked out since it's not been driven anywhere since the engine install. The stock dash doesn't light up or work, radio turns on but no sound. All the brake and turn signals work fine. When you turn the ignition on the headlights turn on and open. Not sure if that's a DRL feature someone added or what. The old engine that was in the car before this one leaked oil so the headers and exhaust are still burning it off. This is a great easy project to have some fun with. It has a clear title. Full payment is due within 3 days, car should be picked up within a few weeks. I can help arrange shipping if needed. No paypal on this auction.
