1972 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
1972 Chevrolet Corvette Description
Great looking car! Not a trailer queen, this is for the person that wants a great-looking car to DRIVE.
Just moved to Louisiana from Las Vegas, so this is a solid no rust car. Need a down payment for a house so the Vette has to go.
This car hasn't been in any accidents (to my knowledge). Had it inspected by more than one person and they agree it's body/frame/drive-train are all in great shape. Motor has about 30,000 miles on it since its last rebuild. Engine is from a 1972 convertible corvette but #'s do not match. The rest of the drive train is all original. Original seats have no tears. Everything works except the clock and the radio. Radio is an aftermarket cassette radio made to look like an old corvette radio. Just put a new fabric soft-top on it and refinished the soft-top frame at the same time, cost about $2,000. Also just had the quadrajet carb rebuilt and replaced the leaking ai conditioning hoses. Compressor leaks though and haven't replaced it yet. Put new brake calipers on a few years ago. Never drive it in the rain, just when it's sunny. Paint has a small rock chip in he front and a burned spot in the paint on the left rear wheel well from the guy I bought it from (he charged the battery and crossed the wires). I paid 25,000 for it a little over four years ago but I'm going to put it up for less because I need the house down payment money asap. My loss is your gain.
Feel free to pick a mechanic in the area and I'll bring it there for an inspection.
I will work with a shipper if you want to ship it, or you can come and pick it up
