1966 Chevy C10 Panel Truck
1960-66 Chevy trucks are red hot collectibles now and prices continue to rise. From Pick-ups to Suburbans to Panels, early 1960s C10 have become great investments as well as a blast to own and drive.
Amongst the hardest to find are short wheel base panel trucks and this one is among the best of them. There are a lot of ways to go with these, but I chose to make a practical freeway cruiser that can haul ass and cargo both. Here's what it's got:
• 350 cu. In. V8 with Edelbrock carb, intake & cam
• Muncie SM319 OVERDRIVE 3-on-the-tree manual transmission
• True dual exhaust system
• HEI ignition
• CPP power front disc brakes
• C20 control arms
• Front sway bar and new shocks
• 245/75/16 Dunlop AT20 Grand Trek radials
• Completely finished interior
• Custom E-Track cargo management system
• Trailer hitch
• Bosch driving lights
• Power leather seats
• Pioneer head unit
• Multitude of spares, including clutch, pressure plate, starter, SM18 3 speed trans, drive shaft and set of 4 265/60/18 6 lug chrome wheels and tires if you want that look too.
I used this truck in my business and it is one of the best attention-getting rolling billboards of all time. I've traveled all over California in it and have camped in it too.
This truck travels down the freeway at 70 mph at only 2100 RPM thanks to the amazing overdrive transmission, itself incredibly rare and valuable. It does not have A/C or power steering, but that's how I like it. Both can be added and are common upgrades.
If you want a truly unique truck that is fun to own and drive, this is the one. Drive it anywhere. 14-15 MPG. Promote and use it in your business. Helms Bakery used these back in the day for just that. Hit the classic car & truck shows this summer with a ride hardly ever seen. Take it camping. Bring it to the river. The possibilities are endless.
I can assist with shipping, but shipping is the buyer's responsibility. I have clear title in-hand, it is currently registered and ready to go.
I'm downsizing and relocating to New York, so it has to find a new owner. If that's you, and you're serious, call me. You'll never find another like it. You will not be disappointed.
Let's make it happen!
