2006 Chevrolet Silverado SSHere is the TRUE Story of this Beautiful Vehicle.We bought this in Bel Air Md in April 2007. I have drooled over the SS trucks since they came out in 2003.BUT I didn't want an AWD one and the early ones seemed to all be All Wheel Drive. I didn't want AWD becausemy intentions were NEVER to drive this in inclement weather, EVER. And I haven't. It has been in a garage all its life.It has never had a snow flake drop on it, never been on a dirt road, and has never been used like a truck. Once itcame home with us it received a Truxedo rolling soft tonneau cover and a full bed rug installed as well as a Magnaflow stainlessmuffler and tailpipe. Then we had the two door windows tinted to match the rear door windows and placed beach towels on the frontseats. The truck has had Mobil 1 oil changes regularly, If we didn't drive it at least 5000 miles in a summer we changed it anyway.The original Goodyear tires lasted to 44,000 miles when I bought new Pirelli Scorpions and sold the Goodyears because they were still ingood shape. This truck has never been abused or misused, we are a retired couple and just simply used this as our "Fun" car. It has pulled ourboat to Kerr Lake (20 miles) maybe 10 times but our boat is only a 17 foot. There are no dents, door dings, Never in an accident, Never needed a repairmechanic, its just been babied. We now decided to sell this one and our "beater" S-10 to down size to one truck we can use for everything.Window sticker is here showing this truck was $37,765.00 and IF they made the SS today it would be over $60,000!!!We have even kept a notebook with every drop of gas that has ever been pumped into the tank.In closing this is truly a beautifully pampered truck that has never been used like a truck, it handles like a Porsche and accelerates like a Vette.For sale Locally so IF it sells I will end the auction. 7 day auction and this will be the one and only time we list it. If it doesn'tbring the money we'll keep it and start using it as a truck.
