Thank you for looking at this 1981 Corvette. It was bought an estate sale and represented as 29k miles. I am not stating this mileage as 29k. It truly could be but I am not standing behind it since I do not know the complete history of the car. It had been sitting in a garage for years. It starts and runs fine. The paint is weathered and cracked. The fiberglass is in great shape. No cracks in glass. The power windows are slow but go up and down. The smoked T-Tops are in excellent shape. The car has sat over the last few months and when I was backing out of the garage I noticed that the brake pedal felt spongy. I will bleed them if I have time. The speedo stopped working recently and may need a new cable. The gauges work fine. It has an after market radio. I tried the lights today and they did not go up. I will check on this. They did work!
The car has been a Texas car it's whole life and is not some rust bucket underneath. Overall the car just needsa littleTLC but it is a nice original survivor. Brakes are good just needs to be bled, exhaust is good, runs strong, does not leak fluids. Tires are in great shape. Missing one center cap on the rims.
These cars are going up in value everyday. I am starting the auction at $4600. This is nothing for a good running C3.
I reserve the right to end the auction early due to the car being advertised locally. All shipping feesare the responsibility of the buyer. This is a no reserve auction. Your bid is a legally binding agreement to purchase the car.
