This 1972 C10 has received the following upgrades and modifications

Drivetrain

  • Small Block 350 converted to a 383 stroker (block code 8870010)
  • 400 crank .30 over with the heads
  • Aluminum heads (8533155)
  • 4 core aluminum radiator
  • Billet accessories, pulley kit
  • HEI Ignition & MSD plug wires
  • Chrome power steering pump
  • Chrome master cylinder
  • CPP Booster
  • Holly 750 Double Pumper Carburetor (4777-7 3359)
  • Braided Fuel Lines
  • Spark Plug Wire management holders
  • Headers
  • Chrome Power steering and alternator bracket
  • Custom Billet throttle / detent cable bracket
  • Polished Water Pump
  • Eldebrock intake
  • Chrome alternator
  • Turbo 400 automatic transmission (14S104050)
  • New tail shaft seal
  • New Tubular Cross Member
  • New Drive Shaft
  • New K&N air filter
  • New Fluids (Oil & Radiator Flush)
  • New upper Radiator Hose
  • New Thermostat with New Chrome Housing
  • New battery
  • Chevy 12 bolt rear end housing 3.73 gears. Posi Rear End
  • Additionally the truck received many small parts under the hood such as valve covers, fuel pump, taped/loomed and tied all wire, chrome fan shroud, side and front delete plates and the list goes on and on

This truck starts, drives, and stops as it should. Has a good lopy cam. This is an extremely powerful motor, rating 390hp. Please view videos of start up to running. Absolute blast to drive!

Suspension / Frame / Brakes / Wheels

  • Truck has a 2/4 drop on it with replaced springs, New front shocks and rear shocks are in good shape. Has replaced spindles that were changed by previous owner
  • New Wheels and tires with less than 25 miles on them. They are US MAG 22x9.5 in rear & 20x8.5 in front. It’s a great aggressive staggered wheel set up.
  • Frame was mildly cleaned on front & rear. Under cab was lined by previous owner
  • 4 wheels Disc Brakes with Wilwood set up on the rear
  • Cross driller and slotted front rotors

The truck handles and drives smooth as it should. The under frame shows minor dirt and stains. In 5-10 years I personally think the truck will need new body bushings (cab only-passenger side front rubber mount is starting to flake & crack) and depending on how many miles you drive it a year. After 10-15k miles the lower/upper ball joints should be replaced. At that time I would also recommend doing both inner and outer tie rods.

Exterior

  • Chevy Graystone Metallic Paint (paint code included)
  • Just Completed a Cut N Buff with Wax detail on truck
  • Some brush touch up was done to fix some of the nicks
  • Nice straight body with all original panels (originally an orange 1972 truck painted only once)
  • Drip rail is clean with minor chips that were touched up
  • All glass is in great shape with minor marks or scratches
  • Weather stripping was replaced in last couple years
  • Handles & locks do show minor wear
  • Front bumper is in great shape. Few bolts are showing wear
  • New Rear bumper with hardware
  • New front, rear and side marker lights
  • Front grille shows well with minor marking, dings and scratches
  • Trim rings, bezels and hardware are all in good shape with minor wear
  • Inside of bed was painted to match truck and shows well. Has minor dings, dents and scratches
  • Tailgate works opens and closes
  • New Tailgate trim panel in black/chrome

The Paint on this truck shows exceptionally well as you can see by looking at the pictures and videos. It’s a beautiful paint job that was done right and will hold up for years to come. There’s enough clear coat material on the truck for one more Cut & Buff. We have taken a few photos of nicks in the paint that were touched up. Couple on driver and passenger door, one on each of the bed sides and a couple on front fenders near the wheel arches. All the gaps are all correct. Doors open and shut correctly. The cab lines up with the bed as it should and nothing sags. All windows work, open, shut, and roll up and down as they should
