2005 Chevrolet Corvette Z51 Description

2005 C6 Corvette w/ Z51 Package
Up for auction is my 2005 C6 Corvette. I have owned this vehicle since November 28, 2008. It has been a real treat to have been able to enjoy this beautiful vehicle and I have had a lot of fun with it. This is a great opportunity to own America's greatest automobile offering, a Corvette. It's not likely you will find a nicer looking, or better running C6 Corvette in the price range I have listed this vehicle, with the tasteful modifications that have been performed to it. I have taken special care in maintaining this vehicle to the best of my ability and I hope you will agree that this is one beautiful C6! I have taken the time to write a detailed ad with as much information as I could possibly remember. Please take the time to read it if you are interested in bidding. Its very possible I may have forgotten something as I have owned this car for quite sometime, so please feel free to contact me with questions; Iwould be happy to answer them.
As I mentioned above, I have owned this vehicle since Nov. 08. I purchased the car with just about 14,000 miles on it. It currently has 55,994 miles on it. It is a Clean Carfax vehicle with a detailed inspection and service history. In addition to the condition of the vehicle, which I believe is EXCELLENT, I have taken the care tometiculously maintain this car with regular oil changes and fluid flushes. As of Spring 2016 all of the fluids in the vehicle have been changed. This car is ready to hit the road for the remainder of the summer and needs nothing as far as I can tell. In addition to the maintenance I tookthe care to keep just about every single receipt for the car that I have. This consists of a folder about 1/2 inch thick. These will beprovided to the high bidder upon request.
I could write for hours about the car but the bottom line is that it runs, drives, and looks fantastic. The body is in excellent shape. If you look at the front end you will notice that I upgraded the standard base coupe bumper with a Hi Tech Custom Concepts Bumper and Heat Extractor Hood. This gives it a super aggressive look with the bigger front fascia; and theheat extractor hood keep it cool in even the hottest temperatures. This hood and bumper were professionally installed and painted about 7 years ago byoneof thebest Corvette Shops in the tri-state area. The paintcolor match is perfect (I would accept nothing less). The fitment is good overall, and looks fantastic but the panels do fit snugly as a result you have to take care in opening the hood. There are a few tiny chips and hairline cracksthat have been touched up on the bumperover the past 7 years but overall I think the bumper looks better than most stock c6's of the same age. Its hard to keep these bumpers perfect as the cars all ride so low. The rest of the paint and bodyare in tip top condition. The paint has been detailed to a mirror finish and I enjoy waxing it on the weekends... so there is plenty of protection. The car is stored indoors the entire winter, every winter. The wheels werepowder coated black. The powder coat was done atjustabout the same time period. It hasheld up well over the last 7 or so years. The tires are factorysize and have about 80% tread left. The interior is in great shape as well. No rips or tears in anything, both bolsters look great. Drivers seat has minimal wear and passenger seat has hardly any. The door panels are clean. The center console shows a little wear but again its minimal. The push to start button is chipped but it's a cheap fix if it bothers you. This is a non-nav C6 but the stereo is excellent. The speakers were upgraded but I do not recall with what.
There is a lot of moneyunder the hood. This maylooklike a stockC6 but its is awolf in sheep's clothing.Back about 35k miles ago we upgraded the engine with a heads and cam package and the transmission with a LT1-SC Twin Disc Monster Clutch. Thepackage was designed by Hendrix Engineering in collaboration with Ed Curtis. There is quite abit done to it so I will list all the specs in a list below. I have receipts for all of the parts that were installed in the engine and transmission. In the last year we decided that we wanted to use the car more often on long distance trips. As such I removed the extremely loud Magnaflow exhaust that was originally installed on the vehicle and installed a stock exhaust off of a late model C6.I also had the vehicle re-tuned. The results are a car that pulls hard and drives relatively stock. I couldn't really ask for much more. The cam is large by numerical standards however if you're not listening, you won't hear it. If you're paying attention you will notice there is something different about this car. The clutch takes a little getting used to but overall drives well. It is a little noisier than a stock clutch and getsvery grippywhen hot but if you've never owned a C6 before you wouldn't know the difference. I am a5'2"female. If I can drive it, most anyone can.

Take a look at the modifications list above. I tried listing everything based on the receipts I had and what I remembered. Again if you have any questions please feel free to email me, I'd be happy to answer them. Its been a fun 9 years of ownership but after careful deliberation I feel its time to move to something different as my goals in life are changing. I think this car will bring the next owner years of enjoyment, same as it has brought me. I have listed this car atwhat I feel based on my research is a "good"fair buy it now, and a very low reserve.
