1963 Chevrolet Corvair Spyder Description

The car was bought in 1962 from a man that lived in Hilliard, Ohio. His dad gave him a 1958 Chevy Be lair to trade in on a new car. He chose this one for his graduation pres ant . His high school queen road in the back during a parade in High School. He ended up getting married to her and went to Collage with her in California and brought back two babys in the Corvair. In 1970 he parked in his dads barn till I bought it in 2008. I made him a promise, to restore the car and keep in contact with him and did. I found out him and his wife was going to have there 50th anniversary soon one day . I was going to try to reunite them with the car to ride in on that day. Just months before there anniversar, I received a call from his wife.
He paste away. His wife thanked me so much for keeping in touch and she sent me pictures of him the day he brought the Corvair home from the dealer in 1962.
I have all documentation seance day one in 1962 every cost invested and what it was for.
The motor was rebuilt when I got the ca, had 10,000 mile on it. I have done all other restoration on the car. Runs strong shifts goo, drive strait steering wheel off just a bit. Tires are from 1970 the year when he parked it . Runs down the road just fine, boost shows about 6 to 7 lbs. Car shows some wear in paint in a few spots. a little oil leek have seals.Still looks good after a 7 year resto. 2428 restored miles. Lots of parts.
