You are bidding on a 1965 Chevy Impala convertible. The car is all original minus the wheels. I have the original hubcaps as well and will include them in the sale if you desire the all original look. Recent tune up on the 283 and it runs strong and smooth. Recently drove the car on a 300 mile round trip without issue. The top is brand new and goes up and down automatically as it should. Wheels are staggered 20X8.5 & 20X10.5.
Great looking car and gets compliments everywhere I take it. Usually I only drive it on weekends to local places as well as "coffee and cars" type get-togethers. Although the car drives just fine I mean "all original" when I say all original. Motor has been rebuilt not long ago and parts that wear (brakes, shocks, etc.) have been replaced over the years, but it runs and drives like a classic "old school" car and not a brand new car etc. Has a custom dual exhaust that provides a nice rumble but is by no means loud or annoying. Just sounds like a classic muscle car. The metal on the car is all very solid. There is some surface oxidation on many of the parts but nothing is eating through or in advanced stages. The undercarriage has a complete undercoating on it so that seems to have saved the car quite a bit. It is in overall good shape especially for the year and the fact that its never gone through a full restoration. A few minor things could be done to make it feel complete like a new latch for the glove box and adding a working radio.
It is my favorite car I have ever owned and I have owned quite a few classics. Only parting with it because I need the money. Please feel free to ask any and all questions that come to mind.
