This C10 is a very well built truck with no expense spared mechanically. I have driven this truck 250 miles to car shows without hesitation. Truck runs 185-190 degrees with 40-50 psi of oil pressure consistently (new crate motor). Transmission shifts perfectly and overdrive keeps the RPMs down and highway cruising is much more fuel efficient and enjoyable.
This truck is rock solid mechanically and underneath. Virtually rust free underneath (see photos) and very solid. This is a driver quality truck at this point, however would be a perfect candidate for a topside restoration. The paint and body work was done "amateurish" at best. Paint is really the only aspect that needs addressed. Unless you wanted to go with a "patina/shop truck vibe" but my opinion is the rest of the truck is too nice to go that direction The appeal of this truck was the attention to detail and no expense spared in the mechanical aspect of the truck and all of the little creature comforts and attention to detail as far as fasteners/gaskets/rubber mouldings etc.
I would drive this truck anywhere and I am very proud of this vehicle and hate to see it go. I have owned it for going on 3 years and the gentleman I purchased the truck from has become a very good friend. He is the individual who performed all of the mechanical work and and some of the detail pieces you would purchase from LMC or a similar facility.
Reason for selling is due to the fact that I own 14 vehicles and have become overwhelmed with storage/maintenance/and just plain having the time to drive them all. It is difficult to even post this truck for sale as I have grown attached (hence my 14 vehicle dilemma)
