This 1967 Corvette Convertible is a beautiful, well cared for example. It has its original, "special high performance" 327/ 350hp, numbers matching engine. This engine was completely rebuilt less than 1000 miles ago and it runs absolutely fantastic. The car has manual steering and brakes and features a woodgrain steering wheel, side exhaust, and a factory style big block hood with the 327 callout on it.
The car is presented in its original color of code 977, Lynndale Blue with a code 418 Teal Blue interior. Its a striking combination. This rare and desirable color was only applied to approximately 6% of the Corvettes in 1967, even fewer of these had the Teal interior. While the paint was refreshed a number of years ago, it still shines nicely. There are some isolated blemishes from age but they do not detract from the overall appearance of this Corvette. The color is vibrant and highlights the body lines.
The interior has recently replaced seat covers in the correct, original Teal color. We still have the original covers that were replaced. The instruments all work properly and are clear and crisp. The 4 speed, manual shifter has recently been rebuilt and works like new. The clutch was replaced at the same time the engine was rebuilt so it grabs smoothly and works properly.
The convertible top is bright white with a nice, clear window. While the top has hardly ever been used, their are a couple small pinch spots in it from being stowed. The top bows are nice and work correctly. The carpet is all new in the proper color and fits beautifully.
The front suspension has been recently rebuilt with new bushings, tie rods and steering damper. This provides nice tight handling and positive feel. The BF Goodrich radial tires are in excellent condition with lots of tread. They are mounted to a set of aftermarket rally wheels but I have the original, number stamped rally wheels too that go with the car.
To document the originality of this Vette, we have the tank sticker, well, most of it. The remainder of the sticker is still on the tank, in the car. We are also including an extensive inventory of spare parts. These include both mechanical and trim pieces. Please ask for a complete list.
So, if you're looking for a classic C2 Corvette that you can drive and enjoy anytime with pride and confidence, this is the car you've been looking for.
