1976 Chevrolet C-10 CHEYENNE Description

Here’s your chance to own a piece of blue collar American history. I am putting my 1976 Chevrolet C10 short bed Cheyenne up for sale. This truck is an awesome cruiser and surprisingly gets more looks and conversations started than most classic vehicles I see. It is largely original besides the paint and lowering kit. It will start up and take you anywhere you want to go, and I highly suggest rolling the window down and letting your arm hang out since you can’t get any cooler in this thing. It is the epitome of true square bodies as the 70’s had the large square nose and looks even killer lowered. Truck is ready to go nothing needed with a clean and clear NC title that is already notarized. Just needs your signature and some cash to own it. Truck is located in Henagar Alabama Here is a break- down of the truck.

Mechanical:

Truck starts with ease even after sitting awhile and purrs like a kitten. Is so smooth you have to rev it up to realize it is running. Going down the road it shifts and stops great and as it should. Comes with the original sbc 350 and turbo 350 trans. Mileage shows 85k on the dash and is known to be original. I have no proof other than owners word of mouth as these trucks are hard to keep up with, but as good of shape as it’s in, it is believable.

Wheels/tires/suspension:

Has rally wheels with the (I think) extremely cool grandpa style hub caps, and with it lowered I think just makes it an all-around awesome truck. Has a nice, done right Mcgaughy 4/6 lowering kit with new shocks, springs, etc. It rides extremely well. Tires are fairly new white walls.

Body/Underneath:

The body is 100% rust free no ifs, ands, or buts. Original trim, original rare grill etc. Has an old repaint. It still cleans up and shines really well, but the paint job was not 8k, it has imperfections you can see up close and in the right light. But this is not a show truck just merely meant for cruising and if you get a rock chip on it, oh well who cares. Underneath is super solid and can tell never been touched or tampered with. Has two or three small rust spots around cab supports but they are nothing major. It’s been a southern truck its whole life and it shows.

Interior:

The interior is exceptional. Seat, carpet, headliner, dash has no cracks, rips, or stains anywhere. And it is a Cheyenne package truck. These are few and far between to find still in good shape. For those that don’t know a Cheyenne truck back then is comparable to a denali or high country truck today. As far as packages go, they came loaded and was meant to be Chevy’s nicest trucks on the road. You can see all the trucks factory options on the id card. It has AC that is strong and blows cold, heat that works. Radio works but is sometimes hard to keep a strong signal and have to play with it. All gauges, exterior and interior lights, turn signals etc work. This truck has been kept nice over the years and is just an amazing piece of rolling history.

Conclusion:

I have done my best to describe the truck in detail as best as I could. If you are interested or have any questions please feel free to give me a call or text at 423-605-7531. The price is CASH obo. I will not accept anything but cash. I can work with you some but realize how solid and rare of a truck this is. I will not give it away for considerably less than I'm asking. It is by no means a show truck but my price reflects that, however it is still a highly sought after truck and worth more than these rust buckets many people are passing around now.
