2002 Chevrolet Camaro 2 Door Convertible Description

For sale is a 2002 V-6 Camaro Convertible in "Bright Rally Red" & Black Leather Interior. I'm the 2nd owner. I purchased it in Texas about 7 years ago when it had 57,000 miles. Now for the Good!The car was clean then and as clean now. Always garaged & not driven in the winter. Since then I added a Factory SLPSS Fiberglass Hood & Factory SLP SS Rear Spoiler. These items are NOT aftermarket! These items were Never Painted. They came with the Factory Color "Bright Rally Red".Whoever purchases this Camaro gets the Undamaged Original Steel Hood & Spoiler it came with if they want it (See Picture). Ialsopurchased the Original Tonneau Cover with it's own Case(See Pictures).The Convertible Fabric Top looks a little worn however does Not Leak & Works Perfectly Up or Down! The paint on this Camaro is Original & in Very Good Condition with No Dents. This car was Never Painted or Repaired& Painted.This car was never in any accident where damage incurred. The paintdoes have light surface scratches & scuffs here & there. The paint shines up beautifully as the pictures show! Way nicer in person!!! The Stereo Speakers were Replaced & Upgraded to "Infinity Kappa" Front & Rear. The sound is Great!CD/Stereo has built in preset EQ. The Stereohas Steering Wheel Controls! Two Sets of Keys with Original ChevyKey Fobs for Lock/Unlock, Alarming etc. Car has Intruder alert Alarm. The 3.8L V-6Engine Purrs Like a Kitten and has Pep & Power when needed with Absolutely No Problems. It was given a Full Tune Up about 6,000 miles ago. The Gas Mileage is great if you care about that stuff. The Overdrive Automatic Transmission, 4L60E Operates & Shifts Perfectly. The 4 Wheel Disc Brakes were changedalong withadding Slotted & Drilled Rotors.I added brand new wheels (2009 ZR1-Black w/Machined Face 17 by 8.5)The tires were replacedat the same time20,000miles ago & have plenty of tread left. They are Continental Extreme Contact DWS 255/45ZR17. On a side note, this Camaro handles Amazinglyaround the Curves. Suspension is tight & firm!!!The battery is about a year old. The water pump was changed last year. The AC is EXTREMLY ICE COLD! Now for the not so good! The gas gauge started acting up about 3 months ago.It might be the sending unit but not sure. When I fill it I set odometer to 0. When it says 250 miles I fill it up again.The front seat has a tear on the bottom.The rest of the leather seat surfaces are in Like New Condition. Rear seat was hardly ever used. The "check engine light" came on about 2 years ago. The reason? The code is saying bad catalytic converter. I had it checked out twice by 2 different shops and they both said it's a borderline problem & that the NJ DMV should ofpassed it. They didn't. I have been driving it ever since as is with absolutely no problems.I envisioned completing the clone process by installing an LS1 or LS typeengine & makingthis babya full SS model. Maybe in the next life or maybe in your life! This Camaro is being sold in "As Is Condition".
