2001 Chevrolet Cavalier Description

Our daughter's car. We have spent over $2000 in the last month. The car ran perfectly after we had the motor replaced withmotor with78K miles.The mechanic did not secure the computer and it fell out while we were driving it. Some of the wires were seared off. We had the car rewired for another $400 but that mechanic did not do the job correctly and did not include the wire that goes from the transmission into the main harness therefore, the transmission will not shift out of 1st gear and the speedometer does not work. The car runs and drives well. It just has the aforementioned issues. Brand new brakes and battery. Starts every time. Not junk. Our daughter is in college and we just bought her a new car.
