2003 Chevrolet Avalanche Avalanche 2500 Heavy Duty Description

For sale is my 2003 Chevy Avalanche 2500. This is a serious towing and performance truck. The 2500 series Avalanche is based on GM's medium duty truck chassis (not the light duty truck like the 1500 series that most avalanches are), and it is a powerful workhorse. The truck has the Vortec 8.1 Liter (496 cubic inch) engine with the 4L80e transmission. The stock towing capacity on the truck is over 12000 lbs.
The truck also has a custom tune installed, as well as a performance exhaust. The truck is not especially loud but the low restriction muffler allows the big block to breathe freely and it has an incredible low rumble. The tires and rims are all brand new with less than 3000 miles on them. It has Kumho tires on Ultra rims (8 lug). The truck has an electronic brake controller as well.
Current mileage is 218k and the truck runs and drives perfectly. It is eligible for passenger plates (in NY) since it's a six seater so it is completely parkway legal. All bed covers are present and seal well.
This is a two wheel drive truck. For towing or performance, you will not find another out there with this set up and in this condition.
