Original owner, Low Mileage -- 23,607, Always Garaged, Never Abused
2007 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Description
I have owned this car 10 years, having bought it in December, 2007. Non-smoker, always maintained, never abused and always garaged. It has a scant 23,607 miles. The interior is a beautiful Titanium Gray and in mint condition. The exterior is near flawless EXCEPT a little curb rash under the lowest portion of the left (passenger side) valence. Virtually impossible to see unless you crouch down lower than the valence to see. It is difficult to leave or enter most driveways without scraping the air dam. Had to learn not to park too close to parking barriers. I've provided several photos of this area. It's got all the electronics and options available. Included are sill protectors and lower door section (slip-over) clear plastic protectors. Glass is excellent. Power top is a dark gray and in excellent condition.
The other two issues quite common with this generation of Corvettes:1. The solenoid that allows the gearshift to be removed from park is a little tempermental; and,2. The heads up display mirror, eventually descends and settles out of view. Even with a vehicle as low mileage as this is. GM/Chevrolet dropped the ball on these two items.
I have the original build sticker which shows:

Excellent riding, quiet road car. This generation came out with the hydro-formed frame rails that provide for less flex. Runs flawless. I have used Premium Synthetic Valvoline 05W-30 in the oil changes. When I got the car, I drove the original 500 miles at less than 55 mph which was the traditional break-in period for the engine. I don't know if that is still the practice with new cars, but it's what I've always done and the oil was changed immediately after the first 500 miles. May be silly, but why take a chance, right?
