2008 Chevrolet Uplander lt ext Description

This is my wife's uncle's van. He is now in a homebecause he has dementiaand the van is parked at my house.

Please note: THIS IS A CANADIAN VEHICLE.. IT IS PARKED AT MY HOUSE IN THE U.S. THE OWNERSHIP IS CANADIAN AND THEREFORE, THERE IS NOT A TITLE BUT A REGISTRATION LOOKING THING THAT CANADIANS USE TO TRANSFER OWNERSHIP.

The van runs and drives really well. I personally can attest that it was maintained well. Oil changes, tire rotations, etc. were done frequently. On his annual trip to Florida in December, he had a stroke and couldn't drive anymore. We went down and drove the van back to my house. It drove perfectly with no issues. It has sat at my house since then (9 months) and I want it gone before the snow.A junk yard guy I know says he can give me $250 for it and tow it away. It just seems like a waste to junk it because I know it is sound mechanically.

So:

no reserve. bidding starts at $ 0.99. It is currently not insured. The dash lights up like a Christmas tree. It flashes (abs.....traction control.... stability system) needs maintenance. The air bag light was on but now it is off. Somehow, he drove it like this for a few years with no issues. He put a lot of money into fixing the a/c but it doesn't blow cold anymore. Cosmetically it looks pretty good. The tires have pretty good tread. Front's have about 50% left and the rears have about 40 % left. There is a photo of the drivers inside door handle that is missing a piece of plastic. Other than that, I didn't notice any other problems.
