Here is the story on the Chevrolet Biscayne 1966.
I find and flip, antique cars, muscle cars, hot rods, etc.
I found this car in May 2017 in Washington Island, Wisconsin.
This car has been owned by the same person since 1986, he is the second owner.
He lived in Illinois and had a vacation home on the island. The car has been on the island since 1995. He spent every spring and summer on the island with the car. He got into his late 80’s and finally had to sell the car because he could not drive anymore. All this information was supplied by his son. I purchased the car and did minor rust repair on the rear wheel wells and bottom of the front fenders. That’s all. Paint and Body work completed on 8/3/17. Still needs wet sanding and buffing. Nothing else has been done to the car, except points and plugs and cleaning and painting the engine compartment. It is all original.
Original Numbers Matching-6 cylinder
Power Glide Transmission- Power Steering – Yes
No Power Brakes-Frame and Floors are solid
All original car-except for new paint and rally wheels and front right fender (replaced because of minor crush to the headlight area.) see photo Has original spare tire and jack, in the trunk. I have the original wheels, hubcaps and tires, which will go with the car when sold.
Mileage 88000- Only needs interior work.-Headliner is good. The tires on the rally wheels should be replaced, they are old. The rear bumper has a crease in it, but it can be pounded out. All chrome and trim is original.
Turn signals do not work. Drivers side rear window has been replaced with plexiglass, but I have new glass window, just haven't installed it at this time.
This is a Daily Driver. I have been driving it to cruise nights all of August and September.
I will store the car for 10 days only. After 10 days, I will charge $20 per day storage charges
(NO EXCEPTIONS)
The $500.00 deposit is not refundable.
If you want more photos, I will supply them.
This is a good solid car. Use it now as a driver, or add a big engine and have some BIG fun.
