The 2010 Grand Sport was mainly built for people wanting the handling and appearance of a Z06 or ZR1 but not the insane amount of horsepower that comes with it. Chevrolet had so many requests, that they decided to make the C6 Grand Sport. It's an LS3-powered 'Vette, to which are fitted with some of the Z51 performance package parts such as spring rates, closer ratio manual transmission gearing and Z06 bits
such as front and rear fascias, hood, anti-roll bars, brake rotors and calipers, wider tires and the wider body to cover them. The dry-sump oiling system from the Z06 and ZR1 is also fitted to manual Grand Sports, which means these special motors will now be hand assembled alongside their big-brother stablemates, the LS7 and LS9 engines, in Wixom Michigan, each by a single technician who will sign his or her work. Making this specific Grand Sport even more unique is the special ordered color combo. The Velocity Yellow with Torch Red stripes, matched with the black soft top and black and Torch Red interior is believed to be the only one in this color combo. Taking it a step further were special ordered wheels that are Black and Torch Red as well. Under the hood, you'll find a Magnuson Supercharger bolted onto the LS3 and it's now putting down 450 horsepower at the wheels!! This car is so very bold but so tastefully done, it's the best of both worlds. And with a price of over $65,000 before any of the performance or appearance additions, this is a steal at this price. The half mile races will be back in Arizona 3 times this year, this would be a fun one!! Have a little fun and buy this Vette today.
