2006 Chevrolet Cobalt LS Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purcahsea. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt LS sedan. I would rate the exterior of this Cobalt to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in Amethyst over tan, which is a good color combination. The finish shines nicely for its age and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find much to complain about as you walk around the exterior of this Chevy. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The factory wheel covers show well for their age. The tires have good tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Cobalt to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As a whole, I would describe the interior as "dirty". The door cards are tight but show marks and age. The carpets aren't excessively worn but are dirty and are in need of a thorough cleaning. The same could be said for the seats. They aren't excessively worn, but are visibly soiled and in desperate need of a good cleaning. Everything on the inside of the car appears to be working as it should. The windows all roll up and down easily. The stereo system works and actually sounds pretty good. The climate control system also appears to be doing its job. I'm not sure about the interior fan. When switched to "hi", the fan is off. Move the fan speed knob down to 3 and she blows strong. It didn't seem like that big of a deal to me. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, the interior will need some love but all the important stuff is there and working. Mechanically, this Cobalt appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L Ecotec engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are decent for an older vehicle. You can feel some age in the front bushings, but nothing horrible. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine feels strong and keeps proper temperature at all times. The check engine light is on. The code is an EGR code for "no flow". The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. If you're looking for an efficient and reliable little car, this Cobalt should be on your list. She has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of May, 2018. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
