1999 Chevrolet Express 3500 Description

This vehicle has been owned by a school district for its entire life, and has always been garaged. It was used for delivery service between schools.
The van has a new PA inspection. The engine runs well. Options include power steering, brakes, tilt wheel, cruise control and air conditioning. The front tires are almost new, the rear tires are worn, but still in good condition.
The interior features 2 seats in the front of the vehicle, a bulkhead behind the seats with an access door, and a rubber mat on the rear floor. Anchor tracks are on the rear side walls for tie-down straps (no straps are included.)
Please look at the pictures carefully. There are some minor dings here and there, and a small amount of rust on the rocker panels.
This van is in good used condition - except that the transmission needs some work. The transmission is a 4L80e, 4 speed overdrive automatic. All forward gears work fine, but reverse slips excessively. It can be backed up, but the transmission slips a lot, and it takes a while to get moving.
However, the forward gears work fine, and it could be driven to its new home.
The vehicle is located in Manchester, PA, which is about 8 miles north of York, PA. The vehicle must be picked up within 7 days of the auction close. All taxes and registration transfer fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
