1962 Chevrolet C10 Description

This 1962 Chevrolet C10 is an honest, dependable truck, that's been nicely restored to premium factory standards... and at today's car shows that's exactly what people love to see. But really, the great thing about buying a vintage truck is that is always has the practicality to still do a hard day's work when called to duty. So you're getting a lot of flair and usefulness for such an affordable price.
You can instantly see that this Chevy is a cut above. A clean old pickup in classic colors and wearing a fleetside bed always makes for an appealing package. The bright white is just perfect on a vehicle from the mid-60s, especially when it matches the iconic whitewalls, too. Finish quality is quite nice, with good gaps, smooth panels, and an overall look of quality. The finish shines beautifully, and they kept the wonderful details that make these trucks special, like the big chrome bumpers, wide grille, and two-piece wheels. And there's sweeping side trim that introduces the red accent color that's also seen on the wheels and across the tailgate. So this pickup has as much appeal as a '62 Impala! But that sedan doesn't come with workman roots. After all, the real wood truck bed and liner paint along its sides let you know that this classic can still earn its keep.
The white and red theme continues on the inside, too. You get a beautiful custom bench seat that looks fantastic with its two-tone appearance and custom snakeskin texture insert. And since it's vinyl, any spills on the pristine white area clean up in a snap. The door panels and dash are also two-tone for a full uniform appearance that you'll love showing off. In fact, even the stylized Impala steering wheel follows this pattern, too. It's all part of a great presentation that looks nice, right down to the correct heat/defrost sliders and factory gauge panel.
Under the hood is what makes this pickup the complete cool package. The orange block and valve covers look like its radiating power from within the dark engine bay. And in fact, it is! The correct air topper says this is a 283 cubic-inch V8 because that was the maximum motor for '62. But in fact, this is a larger 327ci. You're still keeping correct with history, because this generation C10 received the more powerful V8 in '65 and this pickup is just too cool not to have the top-dog motor. Plus, the larger V8 is combined with features like the Powerglide automatic transmission and the C10's desirable trailing arm rear suspension. It makes for an easy cruising total package.
