The C3 generation of Corvettes were the stingrays patterned after the Mako Shark II designed by Larry Shinoda and executed under Bill Mitchell's direction. After 1974 government restrictions the gigantic muscle cars were being scaled back to just cruisers more than road carvers. The C3 Corvette though lived on being advertised as "a more efficient Corvette" while still maintaining the bite that wasn't currently being produced elsewhere. The 1977 models featured steel floor panels which reduced ...interior noise and weighed less than the previous fiberglass floors. Power levels and speed were on the rise while power everything (steering brakes etc) made these a pleasure to drive and handle. This 1977 Corvette is road ready powered by a 350 V8 with a 4-speed manual transmission power steering and power brakes; it is the ultimate cruising machine. The windows function smoothly lights and gauges work well and the black leather interior is in great condition for its age. This Vette received a very high-quality repaint a few years back and still looks great. The previous owner recently had the engine replaced with a 350 crate motor had the tires replaced and upgraded the 4 speed to a Muncie setup. With spare parts inexpensive and readily available C3 Corvettes are a steal as far as classic cars go that can provide such a fun driving experience while turning heads down the road. Don't miss your opportunity to own this affordable American muscle car.
