This 1971 Nova is not for the faint of heart or average driver.
Body is 99% rust free with no major body work needed, original floor pans, rockers and trunk with no patches. Underside of car has been Z-barted early in its life (probably when new) that kept the car almost rust free. Paint has a few minor chips but overall in good condition.
Interior is in very good shape with only one minor spot in the headliner where the seam has separated about 3 inches or so.
New Torq Thrust rims with MT street slicks and MT front runners with 75%tread.The rear end is a brand new 9" built by Randy's Rear Gears with aTorino housing with Yukon axles, Wave Trac posi trac, nodular third member, moly axle tubes anddisc brakes. It's held in place with custom made adjustable ladder bars, housing floaters, Competition 3-way adjustable shocks and custom made mono leaf springs. Front suspension has big block springs,3-way adjustable shocks and disc brakes.
The engine is a 406 small block with Brodix aluminum heads, Eagle rotating assembly, Lunati custom groundrollercamshaftand full rollerupper valve train. Serpentine belt system, high torque starter, high amperage polished alternator, ceramic coated headers and Purple Horny mufflers that give this motor a deep grizzly roar that will scare any Mustang into hiding! Please beware this car needs a roll cage if you are going to race it at a sanctionedevent. It will run in the 10 second bracket with a little tuning. It has a Turbo 400 automatic transmission, 3500 stall converter, custom driveshaft built to hold up to 900 HP and a driveshaft loop. I have somewhere around 10K in the engine that may have 3 hours on it.
I have also just installed a new fuel systemwith in-line filter.
I have had this car for over 25years and honestly hate to part with it but its built for speed and performance and I'm into cruising now not really street/strip racing.
One side note: This was a former four speed car and the pedal and linkage are still intact.
