1965 Chevrolet Corvair Description

Rebuilt 1965 180 HP Turbocharged engine.
Heads, Turbo Unit and Carter Carburetor professionally rebuilt. Engine re-assembled with cylinders re-ground, pistons fitted with new rings and new rod bearings all torqued to spec.
The engine is assembled to a good differential and four speed manual transmission with new clutch plate, pilot bushing and throw-out bearing. A good pressure plate and bolted flywheel completes the drive train.
The drive train is mounted in a 1965 500 coupe that allowed us to start and tune the engine. The engine runs well and is in need of a proper muffler. The car cannot be driven.
