1964 Chevrolet El Camino Description

Upfor sale is a 1964 el camino. Health issues are forcing this sale. A few things about the car. I bought the car a few years ago, and the previous owner had the body off the frame. At that time the front suspension was completely rebuilt, and he used all poly bushings. All new body mounts were installed. The frame was sandblasted and painted. Note,the crossmember was dented and welded at that time and is solid. Car seems dirty, but its residue from dustless blasting that was started. (SEE DUSTLESS BLASTER FOR SALE IN MY OTHER ADD)

Engine was completely rebuilt,and has high rise manifold and holly 600 cfm. carb. The trans is a turbo 350,and has new lines,and modulator. Both engine and trans have new Prothane mounts.

Brakes were totally rebuilt at that time,even including wheel cyls. Rear axle bearings were replaced at that time also.New coils big block springs in front are new.

Car has new exhaust system, including mufflers and rear pipes.

The car has been driven maybe less than a hundred miles and has been in a garage since I purchased it a few years ago. The seats are from a 1964 GTO.

The floors are solid as is the cowl. I started to dustless blast car and had finished doing one half at this time. My health has stopped the progress, and cannot go any further. Body is solid,hinges good, and basic car is solid

The dash has been wired for lights, and also has wiring installed for gauge set up.

This car has all the hard work done, and body isn't too bad. Its a great project to complete
