1947 CHRYSLER WINDSOR 4 DOOR SEDAN 1991 NATIONAL FIRST PRIZE WINNER
1947 Chrysler Other DELUXE Description
THIS ITEM IS A 1947 CHRYSLER WINDSOR FOUR DOOR SEDAN. I BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM A WEALTHY PRIVATE COLLECTOR AT THE HERSHEY SWAP MEET IN 2004. AS YOU CAN SEE FROM MY PHOTOS, THIS A VERY FINE QUALITY, WELL DETAILED CAR THAT HAS UNDERGONE SIGNIFICANT RESTORATION WORK PRIOR TO MY OWNERSHIP. ON THE FRONT GRILLE THERE IS AN AWARD BADGE STATING THAT IT WAS A NATIONAL FIRST PRIZE WINNER IN 1991, WHICH IS VERY POSSIBLE GIVEN ITS CONDITION, ALTHOUGH I DO NOT HAVE THE DOCUMENTATION TO VERIFY THIS.
THE CAR RUNS, DRIVES, STOPS EXCELLENT AND IS REAL FUN TO DRIVE ESPECIALLY WHEN LISTENING TO THE FACTORY RADIO AS THE MILES PASS BY. THE CAR IS ALSO FITTED WITH TWO FACTORY HEATERS THAT WARM UP THE CAR VERY QUICKLY ON A COLD DAY. THE N.O.S FACTORY CLOCK ONLY STOPPED WORKING RECENTLY. I'M ALWAYS AMAZED AT THE LARGE AMOUNT OF SPACE IN THE BACK SEAT WHICH IS TRULY FIT FOR ROYALTY. NOTE THE SUICIDE REAR DOORS FOR EASY ENTRANCE AND EXIT.
IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD A 1947 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY, THIS VERY FINE 1947 CHRYSLER WINDSOR, WILL MAKE YOU JUST AS PROUD. OWN IT TODAY WHILE YOU HAVE THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY.
THE CAR IS LOCATED IN NEW DUNDEE ONTARIO CANADA, APPROX. 2 HOURS FROM PORT HURON MICHIGAN. AMERICAN BUYERS WILL BE ABLE TO BRING THIS CAR BACK INTO THE U.S.A. DUTY FREE, AND WITHOUT THE NEED FOR ANY BORDER CROSSING PAPERWORK SINCE THE CAR WAS MANUFACTURED IN DETROIT MICHIGAN IN THE FIRST PLACE AND NOW IS BEING RETURNED HOME TO ITS LAND OF ORIGIN.
THIS CAR IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED BY THE OWNER, AND MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE BEING PICKED UP BY THE NEW BUYER.
